SHIMANO XTR/DALE'S PALE ALE 'GUMMINT' TRAIL XC

We've tweaked course distances a bit from last year (and have indicated where we've done so.) The best solution would be to run multiple laps on the short course only for all categories, but then we don't get to give you guys the Gov't Trail section. There are a few compromises in there, but we've been able to come up with distances that are probably a bit better tuned in that last year, plus we've added an extra wave for the Pros. Hopefully that'll alleviate some crowding out there. The start and finish will be at the BOTTOM of Fanny Hill this year, right next to the stage. Depending upon the weather we may get a third water station out there as well.

XC Course Map? Yup.

DALE'S PALE ALE CLUNKER CRIT

A two-wheeled free-for all. Open to all walks of biking life...so to speak. If 6 DH'ers show up with their rigs we'll make a DH category and line 'em up. Townie category? Yup. SS? Yup. Frankenbike? You betcha. 4X'ers? Oh boy. We'll take all comers and categorize them appropriately. WARNING: Participants in Dale's Pale Ale may encounter beer, marshmallows, silly string, hot-dogs, good-natured heckling, watermelon, large comical hammers, Speedos, afro wigs and any number of other childish/amusing items. By no means is this meant to be a comprehensive list. Helmets are required.
