The best solution would be to run multiple laps on the short course only for all categories, but then we don't get to give you guys the Gov't Trail section. There are a few compromises in there, but we've been able to come up with distances that are probably a bit better tuned in that last year, plus we've added an extra wave for the Pros. Hopefully that'll alleviate some crowding out there. The start and finish will be at the BOTTOM of Fanny Hill this year, right next to the stage. Depending upon the weather we may get a third water station out there as well. | CATEGORY | Start Time | 2008 Course | 2007 Course | Distance/Gain | 2007 Median Time | | Jr Sport Men | 8:00 | 1 long | - | 12 miles/2300' | 1:30 | | Sport Women 19-29 | 8:02 | 1 long | - | 12 miles/2300' | 1:49 | | Sport Women 30-39 | 8:04 | 1 long | - | 12 miles/2300' | 1:46 | | Sport Women 40+ | 8:06 | 1 long | - | 12 miles/2300' | 1:39 | | Beg Men 19+ | 8:08 | 1 long | 1 short | 12 miles/2300' | 1:07 | | Beg Women 19+ | 8:10 | 1 short | - | 7 miles/1400' | 1:02 | | Jr Beg Men 15-18 | 8:12 | 1 short | - | 7 miles/1400' | 1:01 | | Jr Sp/JR Beg Wmn | 8:14 | 1 short | 1 long | 7 miles/1400' | 1:47 | | Jr Beg Men 14 & Und | 8:16 | 1 short | - | 7 miles/1400' | 1:01 | | | | | | | | | Expert Men 19-29 | 9:30 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:50 | | Expert Men 30-34 | 9:33 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:51 | | Expert Men 35-39 | 9:36 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:48 | | Singlespeed Men | 9:39 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:43 | | Expert Men 40-49 | 9:42 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:58 | | Expert Men 50+ | 9:45 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 3:15 | | Sport Men 19-29 | 9:48 | 1 long, 1 short | 1 long | 19 miles/3700' | 1:30 | | Sport Men 30-34 | 9:51 | 1 long, 1 short | 1 long | 19 miles/3700' | 1:25 | | Sport Men 34-39 | 9:54 | 1 long, 1 short | 1 long | 19 miles/3700' | 1:32 | | Expert Wmn 19-29 | 9:57 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:46 | | Expert Wmn 30-39 | 10:00 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:36 | | Expert Wmn 40+ | 10:03 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:30 | | Singlespeed Wmn | 10:06 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:42 | | Junior Ex Wmn | 10:09 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 2:39 | | Clydesdale Men | 10:12 | 1 long, 1 short | 1 long | 19 miles/3700' | 1:39 | | Sport Men 40-49 | 10:15 | 1 long, 1 short | 1 long | 19 miles/3700' | 1:31 | | Sport Men 50+ | 10:18 | 1 long, 1 short | 1 long | 19 miles/3700' | 1:36 | | | | | | | | | Pro Men | 12:00 | 2 long, 1 short | - | 31 miles/6000' | 2:16 | | Semi-Pro | 12:03 | 2 long, 1 short | - | 31 miles/6000' | 2:33 | | Pro Women | 12:06 | 2 long | - | 24 miles/4600' | 2:22 | | Junior X Men | 12:09 | 1 long, 1 short | 2 long | 19 miles/3700' | 3:00 |
