REGISTRATIONPRE-REGISTRATION INFO: download the Chalk Creek Stampede Registration Form. Forms mailed in must be postmarked by Saturday, April 25. Forms faxed or emailed in must be received by Wednesday, April 29. You can also call in your registration to 720-407-6142 no later than Wednesday, April 29. ON-SITE REGISTRATION: If you don't pre-register online or mail/fax in a form, you can still register on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. $15 on-site registration fee applies to registration on Friday and a $20 registration fee applies to registration on Saturday/Sunday. No refunds.Shuttles from the front gate will be provided for bags and spectators, in addition all traffic, bicycle or otherwise, will follow the new prescribed route to the race venue. FRIDAY MAY 1 - Practice Schedule All courses open for practice from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. You must be registered and have a number on your bike in order to be on any of the courses - all courses, XC, Dual slalom and both Mountain Cross courses open for practice. SATURDAY MAY 2 - XC presented by  This 7-mile loop is a mix of double track and buttery, smooth single track. * Special note: Dual slalom takes a lot longer than Mountain cross so please be ready to race when your category is called. * All riders must check the brackets as soon as posted to make sure you are in the brackets! * Because Slalom takes so much longer than 4X all riders need to be at the start gate when called 2 minutes warning will be up held AWARDS Cross Country awards will take place within in two hours of the last finisher of you respective start wave, at the start/finish area. Mountain Cross and Dual Slalom awards will be at the conclusion of the days racing, at the 4X/DS venue. All riders must be present to receive awards and cash purses for all MSC events. You can visit them at www.vastaction.com HOW TO GET HERENathrop is located in central Colorado, 7 miles south of Buena Vista and 17 miles north of Salida – right in between Salida and Buena Vista. From Denver take 285 south for 1.5 hours to Johnson Village, follow 285 south for approximately 5 miles, look for event signage on the west side of Highway 285 in Nathrop near the General Store/Post Office. If you absolutely can't make it in by Friday, then you will need to have it in no later than 6:45 a.m. on Saturday morning.
